To celebrate the arrival of fresh Nova Scotian asparagus, Nova Scotia Loyal partnered with Sobeys to host tastings at 20 locations across the province. From Yarmouth to Sydney, we connected with shoppers in every region to highlight the bright, bold flavour of locally grown asparagus—quick-pickled and ready to enjoy.
Why asparagus? Because it’s one of the first crops to hit our tables each spring, and it perfectly captures what we stand for: fresh, local, and rooted in community. Our quick-pickled asparagus offered a zesty, satisfying bite that sparked countless conversations about the power of choosing local.
